The title of "WOT-friendly employer" for the School Complex in Lubaczów

The aim of the competition is to select and distinguish employers who, through their attitude – by creating good conditions in the workplace – support employees who are also soldiers of the Territorial Defence Forces and understand the essence of building this formation, as well as the goals and tasks it faces, especially in the local aspect.

One of these people was the director of the School Complex in Lubaczów, Barbara Kurek, who, together with other finalists, was invited by the commander of the Territorial Defense Forces, Brigadier General Dr. Krzysztof Stańczyk to the final of the 3rd edition of the “WOT-friendly Employer” competition, which took place on June 4 at the Communication and IT Training Center Club in Zegrze. There, she received a letter of congratulations in recognition of the support she provides to employees who are also WOT soldiers. They perform professional and voluntary service – the so-called territorial military service (TSW), which allows them to combine their previous professional activity with military service. This is not an easy task, which is why the WOT command appreciates employers who understand this need and effectively support their employees in combining professional life with military duties.

The ceremonies summarizing the 3rd edition of the competition, in which over 130 entities participated (companies, educational institutions, state sector enterprises and public administration offices), were honored by a concert entitled "Together for the Homeland" performed by the Representative Orchestra of the Territorial Defense Forces. During the final gala, the winners emphasized in their speeches the positive aspects of cooperation with the Territorial Defense Forces and assured of further support for their employees-soldiers.
